Nothing
really changes after you graduate from college. After the spark of excitement fades, you realize that nothing has really changed. At least, for me. I mean, there's the luxury of not having to drive to school, find parking, sit in lectures, write papers, take exams, etc... but for some reason I thought walking across that stage would be like the ending of a happy movie. What happens when that movie ends?
What now?It took me over five years to finish school, thanks to changing my major and taking a few semesters off. I graduated with a degree in English Literature with a concentration in Poetry. Poetry. I know, right? So many people ask me how I managed to survive that, and all I can tell you is the more I studied poetry, the less I understood about it.
And I still can't figure out what I want to do with my life.
So here I am.
